Muskingum announces first-ever Athletic Sponsorship program

For the first time in Muskingum University athletic history – which dates back to 1895 – the University is looking for strategic partners for sponsorship opportunities with Muskingum Athletics.

The options available for sponsorship include the following: venue signage, the athletic website fightingmuskies.com, GAMEDAY sponsorship, the Golden Hook Awards ESPY-style show, or a customized sponsorship to meet any area of interest. The athletics venues include McConagha Stadium, the new North Athletic Turf Field, the Anne C. Steele Center, Mose Morehead Field, and Donna J. Newberry Field. The facilities are the home of Muskingum football, men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling, volleyball, men's soccer, women's soccer, baseball, softball, track & field, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse. The North Athletic Turf Field and the Anne C. Steele Center each feature state-of-the-art video scoreboards. Combined, more than 100 NCAA events a year, which attract thousands of visitors, are held at Muskingum's top-rated facilities.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for Muskingum Athletics to forge strong bonds with businesses in our community," said Muskingum Vice President and Athletic Director Steve Brockelbank. "This unique endeavor will allow businesses to showcase their brand to a captive and engaged audience."

For more information on this historic opportunity, please contact Steve Brockelbank at 740-826-6109/stevenb@muskingum.edu or Muskingum Director and Assistant Professor of Athletics Communications Tom Caudill at 740-826-8022/tcaudill@muskingum.edu.
