Dappen and Clark named SAAC Muskies of the Month

The Muskingum Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has announced that men's lacrosse sophomore goalie Phillip Dappen and softball sophomore outfielder Amy Clark have been named the SAAC Muskies of the Month for March.

Dappen started every game and made 71 saves en route to helping guide the Muskies to a pair of wins.

Clark hit .362 with four home runs and 19 RBIs to lead the Muskies. She also belted seven doubles and scored nine runs, while starting and playing every inning.

SAAC Muskies of the Month nominees are nominated by Muskingum coaches and voted on by SAAC representatives from Muskingum's 21 varsity sports.

The mission of SAAC is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity and communication between the student-athletes and athletics administration, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering a positive student-athlete image on campus and in the New Concord community. SAAC representatives have dedicated themselves to helping and promoting their fellow student-athletes, Muskingum and the community. Their efforts have helped to enhance a tradition of involvement by Muskingum student-athletes.
