Lardie and Adams named SAAC Muskies of the Month

The Muskingum Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has announced that men's track & field senior athlete Chris Lardie and women's lacrosse sophomore Ashley Adams have been named the SAAC Muskies of the Month for February.

Lardie finished second in the triple jump at the Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Championships to earn All-OAC honors. His mark was 43-4.50.

Adams scored five goals, registered one assist, had eight ground balls, five draw controls and caused four turnovers against Thomas More. Her efforts helped lead Muskingum to its first program win and set a record for most goals scored in a game.

SAAC Muskies of the Month nominees are nominated by Muskingum coaches and voted on by SAAC representatives from Muskingum's 21 varsity sports.

The mission of SAAC is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity and communication between the student-athletes and athletics administration, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering a positive student-athlete image on campus and in the New Concord community. SAAC representatives have dedicated themselves to helping and promoting their fellow student-athletes, Muskingum and the community. Their efforts have helped to enhance a tradition of involvement by Muskingum student-athletes.
